What is Recruitment Marketing?

Recruitment marketing applies marketing practice to talent attraction: employer brand, careers-site content, job-post copy, distribution channels and conversion measurement. Its objective is a larger and better-matched applicant pool for each open role.

The careers page is the highest-leverage asset. It is where distributed traffic converts, and its apply-flow friction determines what share of interested candidates actually complete an application. Long multi-step forms lose a large fraction of qualified applicants.

Attraction only pays off if the process behind it can absorb the volume. Generating more applicants for a funnel that already cannot screen the ones it has degrades candidate experience rather than improving hiring outcomes.
